I was born in the Mastchoh district and I live in Khujand. Everything I show people is within a few hours of home.
I am 18. I grew up in Mastchoh, in the mountains of northern Tajikistan, and I now live in Khujand. Like most people my age here I spent a lot of time online, and at some point I noticed that almost nothing about my country was there — or what was there had been filmed by someone passing through in three days.
So I started my own channel. Short films, interviews, the Seven Lakes, the roads home. People began writing to ask whether I could take them there, and that is how the guiding started. In 2026 I put my Khujand walking tour on GuruWalk, and since then I have shown the city to travellers from France, the USA, Poland, Switzerland, Germany and Russia.
I am not an agency and I do not pretend to be one. What I have is that I am from here: I know the families, the drivers, which valley is worth your last free day, and how to make sure you eat properly while you are in it.

Good to know before you come
- Best season for the mountains: late May to early October. High passes are closed in winter.
- Most nationalities need a visa. Tajikistan runs an online e-visa — check the official site before you book flights.
- The nearest airport to me is Khujand (LBD). Dushanbe is the other way in, about five hours by road.
- Currency is the Tajik somoni (TJS). Cash is king outside the cities, so bring euros or dollars to change.
- Local time is UTC+5, all year round.
The best way to see a country is with someone who has to live in it after you leave.
